Juhu Beach is located on the shores of the Arabian Sea in Juhu suburb in Mumbai, the commercial and entertainment capital of India. It is one of the well known India beach destinations and also a major tourist attraction in Mumbai. The Juhu beach is generally quiet and deserted on weekday and gets crowded only over the weekends and other holidays. Located at a distance of18 kilometers north of the city centre, Juhu is one of the posh localities of Mumbai where the bungalows of some of the most famous film personalities can be found. The Juhu beach offers a number of attractions and activities to visitors and the place is famous for its numerous snack joints. The entertainment enjoyed by visitors to this Mumbai beach include horse and donkey rides, dancing monkeys, acrobats, cricket matches, toy sellers and other activities.
